Prohibition in America

Prohibition was passed by the US Congress in 1919, went into effect in January 1920, and was repealed in December 1933.

How did Prohibition begin in America?

Prohibition in the USARestrictions on the sale and production of alcohol were periodically introduced in 13 states. American politicians even actively used anti-alcohol slogans in their election campaigns and often won elections due to this. The American people actively supported these measures to combat alcohol and even joined various anti-alcohol organizations. Prohibition in America was introduced gradually, so in 1916 various restrictions on the sale and production of alcohol were in effect in 26 states, these restrictions were forced, first of all, to care about the health of the nation and want to save grain reserves.
In 1917, the US Congress sent the states a draft of the eighteenth amendment to the Constitution for consideration and approval, regulating the introduction of "prohibition". In parallel with the bureaucratic procedures, practical steps were also taken, already in September 1917, the production of whiskey was banned throughout the country. In May 1919, serious restrictions were introduced on beer production, and from July 1, 1919, the sale of alcoholic beverages was completely banned throughout the country. However, President Woodrow Wilson himself was an ardent opponent of "prohibition" and even vetoed it, but congressmen were persistent and found a loophole to bypass the veto. And on January 16, 1920, the eighteenth amendment to the US Constitution, introducing "prohibition" in the country, officially came into force. 236 vodka and 1092 beer factories, 177790 different drinking establishments were closed.

Now let's look at the consequences of "prohibition" in America.

Here is what G. Goslar wrote in the book "Modern America":

These are the positive consequences of Prohibition for America. From this far from complete list it is clear that "Prohibition" brought enormouspositive aspects and it is clear that the "prohibition" brings good to people. However, journalists, politicians, etc. tell us on TV screens that the "prohibition" is the stupidest measure. And here are the arguments they give:

That's it, more opponents of "prohibition" cannot provide any arguments in their favor.
In my opinion, there were more positive aspects. Of course, there will always be people who will go against the law, be it "prohibition" or the law against drugs. I must note that the opponents of "prohibition" were very influential people, so they even at the legislative level contributed to the development of corruption and in every possible way hindered law enforcement agencies. The state, if it wants, can stop any illegal activity. Alcohol programmers persistently hammer into us that prohibitive measures cannot lead to anything good. And what about the Criminal Code? It consists entirely of prohibitive measures. According to the logic of alcohol programmers, we need to repeal the Criminal Code and abolish criminal prosecution for the production and distribution of drugs. Perhaps "forbidden fruit" is sweet, but it is prohibitions that prevent certain criminal individuals from committing lawlessness and murder. It was the presence of supporters of getting the population drunk in power that led to the fact that this very power became powerless against a bunch of smugglers. After all, judge for yourself, this same power has been fighting drug dealers for a long time and effectively. Opponents of "dry law" do not tell us a lot of things, namely that not a single "dry law" in history was blown up from within by the people themselves, "dry law" was always sabotaged by people in power. Someone benefits from people drinking and being controlled.

If the state really wanted good for its people, then no pathetic bunch of smugglers could prevent this, for this the state has very effective special services and other structures.

Prohibition in the USAI would like to remind you that alcohol is a drug according to American scientists. In 2007, the famous medical journal "The Lancet" conducted an extensive survey among the most authoritative specialists in this field, and based on this survey, compiled and published a rating of the most common narcotic substances. Alcohol is in 5th place in this rating after such hard drugs as heroin, cocaine, barbiturates, methadone. Drugs such as butyrate and ecstasy are in 17th and 18th place. Alcohol is many times more dangerous than them.

There is a whole staff of alcohol programmers working for the alcohol mafia, and today they are scaring us with "prohibition": if you adopt "prohibition", then organized crime will increase and it will only get worse, they are deliberately keeping silent about such advantages as the health of the nation.

What do the alcohol programmers offer us? They offer to drink less strong alcohol, again keeping silent about the increased beer alcoholism among children and teenagers, they are deliberately keeping silent about the fact that any drug addiction begins with less severe drugs.

Make your right choice! Start a healthy, interesting life without alcohol and drugs. This is what we offer you.
